The Word of God Came to Me Again

 Verse of the Day

“The word of the Lord came to me, saying, ‘Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.’” (Jeremiah 1:4-5, NIV)

Word

The phrase “The word of the Lord came to me” is a recurring theme in the Bible, often used to signify divine communication and guidance. In Jeremiah 1:4-5, God speaks directly to Jeremiah, reminding him that he was chosen and set apart for a purpose before birth. This powerful truth resonates with us today—we are not random beings; we are designed by God for a specific mission.

God’s Word comes to us in various forms—through scripture, inner convictions, sermons, or prophetic messages. When the Word of God comes, it brings clarity, direction, and affirmation of our divine calling. Jeremiah initially felt inadequate, but God's Word strengthened and empowered him.

In times of doubt, remember that God’s Word continues to speak life and purpose over you. When the Word comes, embrace it, meditate on it, and act on it with faith. God has set you apart for greatness.
